Teri Fotheringham is a Denver architectural and commercial photographer partnering with architects, interior designers, developers, hospitality groups, commercial real estate teams,design‑build and marketing teams across Colorado.
For more than three decades, I have worked with clients across Denver, Boulder, Colorado Springs, the Front Range, Colorado mountain communities and nationally to create imagery that helps their projects stand out in Colorado’s competitive marketplace.
I am passionate about crafting photographs that do more than simply document a space; my goal is to reveal the intention behind every line, material, and detail—whether capturing a modern architectural landmark, a distinctive interior, a new commercial apartment community, or a lifestyle‑driven branding campaign. By staying current with the latest photography techniques, software, and lighting approaches, I blend artistry and technical precision so each project is photographed with accuracy, dimension, and an inviting sense of atmosphere that feels true to the space and the people who inhabit it.

Outside of photography, a huge part of my heart belongs to the incredible dogs I have shared my life with and the communities they have helped me serve. For 11 years, my sweet boy Rhett and I volunteered as a therapy team with Denver Pet Partners, spending time with at-risk teens, visiting the Colorado State Senate, bringing a little calm to DU during anti-stress events, offering support and comfort to the survivors of the Columbine High School shooting, supporting pediatric cancer patients, and, as part of a Crisis Response Team, meeting with Colorado emergency services during the 2020 pandemic. Those experiences deepened my belief in connection, insight, and presence—values that quietly shape the way I show up for my clients and their projects. Rhett has passed and I have since adopted a spirited Border Collie mix named Poet and am hopeful we will continue that tradition together as a certified therapy team in the future. When I am not creating images or volunteering, you can usually find me reading, walking, catching up with friends and family, sampling a new restaurant or planning my next trip—everyday moments that recharge my creativity and remind me why storytelling, through photography, in all its forms, matters so much to me.
